At about 2:30 am the third alarm of a four alarm building was sounded. The first arriving
engine from Violetteville reported heavy fire and smoke on arrival. A second and third
alarm were sounded soon after. A special call for hazardous materials was alerted
because of possible paint products in the building. Firefighters from Baltimore Co. Baltimore
City and Howard County fought the fire for hours before it was brought under control. No
reports of any serious injuries at this time
